The Chatsworth Group, based in Singapore, recently organised
a two-day conference on ‘Tech-trends in injection moulding’
in collaboration with PLEXIUM. It was attended by about 200
high-profile delegates. The conference offered an opportunity
of meeting industry experts and building new contacts in the
international plastics industry. Ranjit Pisharody and Nishan
Chandran got to do that, and much more, as they attended this
two-day conference at ITC Grand Maratha, Mumbai. The versatility
of plastics has brought about a commendable revolution in the
field of packaging, automobiles, healthcare, water management
and micro irrigation projects. Enthused by the growing and emerging
markets for plastic products in South India, over 270 exhibitors
showcased the latest materials, processes and technologies at
IPLEX'07. Spread over 9,000 sq m at the Hitex Exhibition Grounds
in Hyderabad, this event served as the perfect platform for
promotion of the plastics processing industries in South India.
